Slasher Royale: New Slasher Horror Graphic Novel Featuring Terrifier 3 Poster Artist Ilan Sheady Announced
AfterLight Comics has officially announced Slasher Royale: The Collected Edition, a blood-soaked slasher horror graphic novel featuring exclusive new cover artwork by acclaimed horror illustrator Ilan Sheady, known for his work on the Terrifier film franchise.
Launching on Kickstarter November 10th, 2026, at 3PM GMT, the upcoming collected edition brings together all four issues of Slasher Royale in one complete graphic novel, alongside limited-edition rewards for horror fans and collectors.
Combining the relentless brutality of classic slasher movies with the visual storytelling of independent horror comics, Slasher Royale is a love letter to the golden age of slasher cinema.
A Slasher Horror Graphic Novel Inspired by Classic 90s Horror
The story begins in 1995. A young boy named Charlie Bowers witnesses the brutal murder of his father at the hands of a notorious serial killer known as The Cable Man.
Years later, The Cable Man has finally been captured and imprisoned in a remote, high-security facility. But for Charlie, the nightmare has never ended.
Consumed by visions of his father's murder and an overwhelming desire for revenge, Charlie takes a job as a rookie prison guard at the very institution holding his father's killer.
His plan is simple: get close enough to The Cable Man to finally settle the score.
But when a mass prison break unleashes some of the most sadistic killers imaginable, Charlie finds himself trapped in a terrifying fight for survival.
Surrounded by murderous psychopaths, brutal slashers and unimaginable violence, Charlie must battle through the prison and surrounding wilderness to reach the man who destroyed his childhood.
To survive the night, Charlie may have to become every bit as ruthless as the killers hunting him.
For fans of masked killers, revenge thrillers and classic slasher horror movies, Slasher Royale delivers an unapologetically brutal comic book experience.
