Before she became the monster of legend, Baba Yaga was just a girl. For generations, children have feared the name Baba Yaga, the ancient witch said to stalk the forests, travelling in her enchanted cauldron and dwelling in a house that walks on chicken legs. They say she is evil incarnate.
A servant of darkness. A monster that has always existed. But monsters aren’t born. They’re made. Abandoned and left to survive in a brutal world, one young girl will endure the horrors that transform her into something far more terrifying. This is not the story of Baba Yaga the legend. This is the story of how she became one.
